Ang ating kuwento ay tungkol sa patuloy na pamumuhay ng matiwasay na may kapansanan. Ito ay kuwento ng patuloy na pagharap sa mga hamon ng buhay na kung saan ang kapansanan ay hinde naging balakid upang maipagpapatuloy ang mga gawain at aktibidad sa loob at labas ng bahay.
Ang pagsali niya sa Zumba Class ay naging dahilan sa pagkakaroon nya ng maraming kaibigan at pagsali ng iba pang mga aktibidad na nakapag papasigla sa kanya at nakakapagdulot ng pagbabago sa kanyang buhay. About the storyteller
Ang ating storyteller ay magbabahagi ng kaalaman at inpormasyon tungkol sa kahalagahan ng pag aksis ng mga bagay bagay at suporta na nanggagaling sa lokal na Community Centre. Ang kanyang pagsali sa Zumba Class ay kanyang nalaman sa pamamagitan ng Community Centre. Sa pamamagitan ng Community Centres, ang ating Storyteller ngayon ay nagkakaroon ng pakiramdam ng may kinabibilangan at ang kanyang talino at galing ay nahahasa sa pamamagitan ng pagsali ng mga programa ng Community Centres. (Our story is about living well with disabilities. The story is about facing the challenges in life wherein disability is not a hindrance to living well inside and outside the home.
In Zumba class, our storyteller was able to develop friendships and learnt more about other activities that are available within the community. Since the start of Zumba class, our storyteller's life has been transformed. This interview highlights the importance of having friends and people to talk to, in order for people with disabilities to lead happy and connected lives.
About the storyteller
Our storyteller will share her knowledge and information about the importance of accessing resources and support from the local Community Centres. Through the Community Centres, our story teller is now actively participating some of the activities in the community such as Zumba Class. Through the Community Centres, our storyteller's talents and skills are being supported. These various activities make our storyteller feel a sense of belonging. Our storyteller is now living well through the support and resources from the local Community Centres.
