Karina es Cofundadora y Directora de Empatía de la empresa social Mosaik Experiences y la organización sin fines de lucro Casa Cultura. También es directora de la junta directiva de la Colombian Children's Foundation, una ONG australiana que apoya proyectos que reducen la participación de los niños en los conflictos armados colombianos. Beneficiaria de importantes becas que incluyen el Programa de Liderazgo de Mujeres de Comunidades Nuevas y Emergentes en Leadership Victoria, el Programa Acelerador de Melbourne en la Escuela para Emprendedores Sociales y la Beca de Pasantía Profesional Latinoamericana de UQ.
(Art and culture are a fundamental part of the life of any human being. Mosaik Experiences is a social enterprise that aims to inspire a sense of community by immersing people in fun and authentic cultural experiences. They include the most enriching cultural elements: music, dance, crafts, food and language. The experiences are offered by immigrants and people of diverse backgrounds.
Today we are joined by Karina Ojeda Co-founder and Chief Empathy Officer who will share the inclusive services they offer.
About the guest speaker
Karina is the Co-founder and Chief Empathy Officer of social enterprise Mosaik Experiences and not-for-profit organisation Casa Cultura. She is also a board director for the Colombian Children’s Foundation - an Australian NGO that supports projects which reduce the participation of children in Colombian armed conflicts. Recipient of important scholarships including the New and Emerging Communities Women’s Leadership Program at Leadership Victoria, Melbourne Accelerator Program at the School for Social Entrepreneurs and the UQ Latin American Professional Internship Scholarship.
