(Grace is a woman who believes in the importance of having a good base, for her it is her family. She is a wife, mother, daughter, cousin and friend.
Grace was born in Chile, with a small right hand (no fingers), and she was lucky enough to grow up among many uncles, aunts and cousins during the first 10 years of her life, and then her parents immigrated to Sydney, Australia.
She believes in the importance of growing up in a family where everyone treated her the same as everyone else. She grew up with love and laughter and without any special treatment because of her disability.
This woman managed to do everything she set out to do. For example Going to college, getting a job, having her own family. She never underestimates herself. She always thought it was a given to achieve all of her goals.
The most interesting thing about her story is that she had not considered her limb difference a disability until she started working in an organisation that is in charge of guiding and supporting migrants living with disabilities. It was there that she realised that she was a migrant with a disability who has been very blessed to have had a solid foundation and a wonderful life.
For Grace, the love of her family makes her feel blessed and her purpose is to continue supporting the union and culture of her family with her children, continue living without barriers and support all people who live with disabilities.
