About the guest speaker

(Tracy is a volunteer in Vision Australia. In this episode, she shares with us a free communication platform available in Vision Australia - Telelink, and how this platform links visually impaired or loss vision clients together for a facilitated group session either via the phone or through video conferencing. By joining Telelink, people with low or no vision can connect with like-minded people across a wide range of interest areas and languages in different states in Australia. It is a gateway to communicate, share their hobbies, exchange information and develop social networks. Tracy also talks about the inclusive social programs and resources available in Vision Australia, such as workshops to frontline health care people and carers, helping them to better understand and support people with vision impairment.

About the guest speaker
Tracy Wang is a volunteer in Vision Australia where she serves as a volunteer Mandarin and Cantonese interpreter for those in need. She also serves as the facilitator in one of the Telelink groups. Tracy is also a visually impaired person who lives a quality and active life. She is dedicated to sharing her experiences and knowledge to help people with vision impairment living a more independent, exciting, and fulfilling life.
