About the storyteller
Ang ating storyteller ay matapang na namumuhay ng matiwasay sa kabila ng kapansanan. Noon, maraming mga bagay bagay na hinde nya magawa. Nahihirapan siya sa paggawa ng araw araw na gawain. (This story shows the importance of courage and hope in order to build up our wellbeing by improving our health, learning new skills and gaining self-confidence.
The story highlights the significance of accessing local health services such as Physiotherapy that can in turn help to improve one's emotional wellbeing and develop the social skills to attain friendship.
About the storyteller
Our storyteller is living well with their disability. Prior to accessing the local resources and services, our storyteller was having difficulty to perform daily living activities. The motivation of our storyteller to manage daily activities was very low. However, after accessing local medical services, our storyteller gradually built up a routine. Completing household chores and learning computer skills has become a source of joy. In addition, our storyteller is now accessing bus and train services alone confidently.
Our storyteller believes that money cannot buy happiness. Happiness can only be achieved by having a support network like family and friends.
