Ang kuwentong ito ay magbibigay ng inpormasyon sa ating Filipinong komunidad ang buhay - paglalakbay ng ating storyteller upang malagpasan ang hamon habang tumatanggap ng sari-saring kagamutan. Ang kuwentong ito ay magpapakita ng kabaitan, pagpapakumbaba, respeto at pag-aaruga. Ang pagbabahagi sa kapwa ay isang gawain na kung saan naramdaman ng ating storyteller and respeto at pagpapahalaga na naggaling sa iba. Ang kuwento ay maglalarawan din ng kahalagahan ng pag tanggap ng tulong mula sa mga doktor, cancer council at counsellor upang mapapanatili ang pamumuhay ng matiwasay na may kapansanan.
About the storyteller
Ang ating storyteller ay isang surbaybor ng kanser at may kapansanan. Pagkatapos na makuha ang medikal na tulong na naggaling sa kanyang doktor siya ngayon ay may:
- Tiwala sa sarili
- Nagdadagan ang interaksiyon sa kapwa.
- Natutuo ng bagong kasanayan
The story will inform the Filipino community of the life journey of our storyteller and how our storyteller overcome challenges while receiving various medical treatments. This story shows the virtues of kindness, humility, respect and care. The act of sharing and caring for others makes our storyteller feel being valued and respected. The story will also demonstrate the importance of reaching out and seeking help from doctors, counsellors and cancer council to continue living well with disabilities.
About the storyteller
Our storyteller is a cancer survivor and living with a disability. After getting medical treatment and help that includes doctor's services , our storyteller has developed the following:
- Self Confidence
- Increased social interaction
- Learnt new skills such as quilting
