About the guest speaker
Konuk konuşmacım, yıllar önce ailesiyle birlikte Avustralya'ya göç eden Sydney'den bir Türk Avustralyalı. Şu anda sahibi oldugu ADACare (Avustralya Engelli ve Yaşlı Bakım Destek Hizmetleri) firmasinda yöneticilik yapiyor ve uzun yıllardır engelli insanların toplumda iyi yaşamalarına yardımcı olmaktan buyuk mutluluk duymakta.
(Being involved in community life enhances our sense of self-worth and contributes to life satisfaction. In this interview, we are joined by Memduh Guney, a director at ADACare. Memduh shares information and advice about accessing mainstream organisations, spaces and activities that empower people with disability to live with independence and inclusion.
About the guest speaker
Today's guest is a Turkish Australian from Sydney, New South Wales, who migrated Australia many years ago with his family. He is now a director in ADACare (Australian Disability and Aged Care Support Services) where he has been working and assisting people with disabilities to live well in the community for many years. Disability Gateway is a great tool for finding similar disability support services or disability advocates across Australia.
