About the storyteller
Sahily Carrero tiene 29 años, llegó a Australia con una maleta de sueños hace tres años como estudiante internacional a aprender inglés. le interesan los deportes, especialmente el fútbol soccer. Tuvo un accidente y los médicos le amputaron el brazo derecho y le quitaron un poco de piel de las piernas, lo que le produjo algunos problemas de salud. (Sport is an exciting way to bring people together. AAMI Park Stadium, also known as the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium, is one of Melbourne’s most accessible sporting venues. The venue is located in the Sports and Entertainment Precinct in the Melbourne City Centre. It is home to NRL Melbourne Storm, Melbourne Rebels, and the A-League teams Melbourne Victory FC and Melbourne City FC.
Today we are joined once again by Sahily Carrero, who is passionate about sports, whether she is on the field or sitting in the stands. She will share some information about attending AAMI Park Stadium.
About the storyteller
Sahily Carrero is 29 years old. She is interested in sports, especially football soccer. She had an accident, and the doctors amputated her right hand and took some skin from her legs, producing some health issues. After the accident, she found that football and sports gave her the opportunity to recover. She says, "I hope my story motivates all people, especially those with disabilities. The game makes you feel alive again; it makes you feel free."
