(University study can be a challenge, even more so if you have a disability or medical condition that you need to manage as well. In Australia, prospective students who have a disability are encouraged to apply to universities. So, how to succeed in university with a disability?In this episode, Rui will looking for the answer from Alice, who is a student service officer from Flinders University.
About the guest speaker
Today's guest speaker Alice moved from China to Australia as an international student. With a Master’s degree in Social Work from Flinders University, she has been working in the International Student Services team at Flinders to assist other international students.
She has great passion in supporting and empowering them to succeed in academic and social life in Australia with confidence. She believes with appropriate support, this group can contribute more to the community in the long term. For students with disabilities, she is more than happy and willing to utilise her knowledge and skills to support them.
