प्रतिक सिग्देल एक सपोर्ट वोर्कर जो डिस्याबिलिटी क्षेत्रमा कार्यरत छन्। उनले बाँसुरी र मादल जस्ता परम्परागत वाद्ययन्त्र प्रयोग गरेर नेपाली जातीय नृत्य र संगीतसँग सम्बन्धित विभिन्न गतिविधिहरू सञ्चालन गर्छन्। अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिका लागि सांगीतिक गतिविधिबाट धेरै फाइदा हुने उनको भनाइ छ । यी गतिविधिहरूले संचार, मोटर कौशल, र सामाजिक कौशल सुधार गर्न मद्दत गर्न सक्छ। संगीतले अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिहरूलाई आफ्नो क्षमतामा थप आत्मविश्वास र आत्मसम्मानमा सुधार गर्न मद्दत गरिरहेको उनको भनाइ छ। यी संगीत गतिविधिहरूले अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिहरूलाई आफ्नो वरपरका मानिसहरूसँग सम्पर्कमा रहन मद्दत गरेर जीवनको गुणस्तरमा सुधार ल्याइरहेका उनि बताउँछन्।

(Pratik Sigdel is a support worker who is working in a disability sector. He runs different activities related to Nepalese ethnic dance and music using traditional musical instruments such as the flute and Maadal.
