(Today's guest, Mrs. Cavyta Katuwal, works as a beautician and makeup artist and owns her beauty salon in Hobart. She says that offering beauty services to people with disabilities can have many benefits. First, the service provider and the person can form a positive relationship between one another. Second, the person may feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin. Third, it creates a sense of inclusion in society. Finally, it helps to build up a fulfilling self-image for someone with a disability.
About the guest speaker
Our guest speaker, Cavyta Katuwal, a beautician and makeup artist, provides services such as Heena tattoo, tinting and threading to people with disabilities in her place as per their needs. She talks about how people with disabilities can access the beauty services in her beauty salon. She also illustrates how basic beauty services help to build a positive relationship with others by bringing a smile to others' faces.
