About the guest speaker

Libraries are a place of curiosity, creativity and learning. Importantly, they are welcoming places for people with disabilities. Many libraries have tools and resources for people with different kinds of disabilities so they can enjoy the materials, just like anyone else.
Our storyteller, Nazim, is an inspiring individual who migrated to Australia with his family in recent years. Despite being visually impaired, which has caused him to stop practising medicine after a decade-long career, he still found the means and tools to continue progressing in his life, both personally and professionally.
