(This story is about a woman who discovered so many support services through coincidence that have enabled her to live an empowered and independent life in Australia. She encourages listeners and all people to go out and research about the different forms of support there is out there through the internet or going out and about and connecting with different networks of people. This woman also talks of the importance of her family being an active part of her support system.
About the storyteller
This storyteller is a woman who lives with her son and husband, and enjoys spending time with her extended family as well as immediate. She enjoys going for walks often, and is very thankful for the support services she has discovered in Australia over the past couple of years.
